Los Angeles / Miami based, DJ Yahtz is no stranger to the Hip-Hop and music industry.
Starting as a Promotions Representative for Sony/Columbia Records and Immortal Records, DJ
Yahtz has become an active force in the industry. DJ Yahtz has been passionately mixing and
creating music since 1993. He began to make a name for himself as a DJ around the college
radio circuit in the Southern California, and internationally in Europe.
Throughout his career, he has had the opportunity to headline for several artists such as:
X-Clan Cypress Hill
Little Brother Kotton Mouth Kings
One Session Suburban Noize Souldiers
TriState Dilated Peoples
Oingo Boingo Michael Franti and Spearhead
and a host of other artists.
DJ Yahtz has performed at some of the most recognized night clubs in Los Angeles, and Internationally including the following locations:

DJ Yahtz incorporates elements of Hip-Hop, Funk, Disco, and House into his unique DJ style.
His mixing technique and style has been widely recognized and admired. In 2009, DJ Yahtz was nominated as “Best Party/ Dance DJ” for the Southern Entertainment Awards (SEA).

In addition, Yahtz hosts a Soulful House radio show called “Sunday School” available on the
Sprint Radio Network, Move Radio (Apple iPhone), and FocusOnTheDJ.com
He continues to release several Underground Hip-Hop Mixtapes and Dance compilations.
Furthermore, he also is one of many active DJs in the Fleet DJs Network.
